Donna Kay Bailey

Donna Kay Bailey, 69 of Eastland, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27th, 2024, at Harris Hospital in Ft. Worth TX. Services were held on Saturday, March 9th @ 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Eastland Texas. Graveside services to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan, TX.

Donna was born May 8, 1954, in Mineral Wells Texas to Wayne Ford and Melda Joyce Allen Ford. She graduated from Cross Plains High School and Tarleton State University. She also attended Howard Payne University. She was a passionate teacher. She taught elementary school children

and influenced the life of many through leading bible classes at church throughout her life. She enjoyed investigating her ancestry, crafts, and birdwatching. Her favorite role was being a MIMI to her grandchildren.

She married Craig Bailey on May 28, 1977 in Breckenridge. She was member of the First Baptist Church in Eastland and was active with the Community Bible Study group.

She was proceeded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Craig Bailey; a son, Bryan Bailey & wife Jennifer and their daughter, Madison Reese Bailey of Atlanta Georgia; a daughter, Stephanie Ivy and her children, Jadyn, Aubree & Liam Ivy of Artesia NM; her sister, Kelly Marsh & husband Richie Marsh of Vineland NJ; a brother Russell Ford & his wife Kristen of Aledo TX; Aunt, Carol Lippe & her husband David of San Angelo TX; and uncle, Danny Allen of Patillo TX.
