Fried Pies at Cisco Christmas Parade Dec. 1

Make plans to enjoy a delicious fried pie at the Holly Jolly Christmas Parade in Cisco. Cisco Strong will be selling the fried pies in The Gap (between Log Cabin Collectables and Campbell Insurance) during the parade on December 1, 2022, with sales starting at 4:30 pm. Fried pies will be $5 each or 3/$12 in 4 flavors, apricot, apple, cherry and lemon. All proceeds benefit Cisco Strong to help fund projects within the community. An overflow crowd attended a veterans luncheon Friday on the Cisco campus of Cisco College. Hosted by Maner Memorial Library Director Donna Clark and staff Terri Gayle Widener and Vicki Carney, more than 70 persons were welcomed at the library. Glenn Clark, Interim Pastor of Harmony Baptist Church of Eastland County, expressed appreciation to the veterans and spoke the Veterans Prayer.
