You probably saw Ted Fields, Ben Nichols, and Jim Webb, sitting back of the gas pumps at Ted and Rex's Station in Cisco nearly every weekday for several years about 2:00 PM. There they discussed many people and events that they had known and experienced. I listened several times and sometimes was there just as this was breaking up. Ted was kind enough to greet me and remain for a little longer to try to educate me about the past history of the Cisco area. It was during one of overtime sessions that he related the following story.
