Lacie Dorman

Cisco Police Department

On March 10, 2022 Cisco Police Sgt. Tammie Stubblefield responded to a call reporting the local ambulance had been hijacked. Cisco EMS service had been summoned to the Cisco Fire Department due to an injured person who had arrived to be treated medically. Upon arrival EMS workers loaded the wounded person onto the ambulance and begin preparing the patient for transport to Eastland Memorial Hospital. As this was occurring, a female later identified as Lacie Dorman, 28 of Lufkin, Texas jumped into the driver seat of the ambulance and sped off. A quick trip around several city blocks ended when the ambulance stopped in the 400 Block of Ave. E. Dorman then fled on foot being pursued by the one of the EMS workers. A short time later Dorman was taken into custody by Sgt. Stubblefield. Injuries to EMS workers were sustained due to being tossed around inside the ambulance. Dorman was charged with multiple felony offenses and was housed in Eastland County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $158,000.00. Dorman was allegedly dropped off in Cisco by a motorist along IH 20. The injured patient was treated and released from the hospital.
