Cisco Development Corp Brings 5G AT&T Cell Tower to North Cisco

This year the journey will be a drive through. Cars will enter the parking lot from 17th St. and exit to Railroad Ave. to 18th St. While driving through the parking lot, visitors will view scenes of the Christmas Story, listen to carolers and receive refreshments as they exit. Drive by and enjoy this special time as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.
Cisco Strong will be hosting their annual Fried Pie Sale in conjunction with the lighted Christmas parade in downtown Cisco on Thursday, Dec. 2nd. Apple, apricot, cherry and lemon fried pies will be offered to tantalize your taste buds. Pies will sale for $5 each or 3 for $12. To pre-order, come by or call JT Ranch Quilt Shop at (254) 442- 1940. All pre-orders must be paid for before pickup. Pies will be sold and picked up at The Gap between Log Cabin Collectibles and Germania Insurance starting at 4 o’clock the day of the parade and will end when all the pies are gone.
Last year the Cisco Goodfellows helped over 100 families have a wonderful Christmas with boxes of groceries and toys for over 200 children. We are looking to assist even more families and the Goodfellows organization cannot accomplish that without the help of business and personal donations from the community. Please consider donating early this year, as Goodfellows will be distributing on December 18 . We are accepting monetary donations as well as canned goods and unwrapped toys at the Myrtle Wilks Community Center at 1498 I-20 West in Cisco. Please help spread the joy of Christmas cheer to those less fortunate, as it is the best gift you can give to your community. If you choose to mail your check, make it out to Cisco Goodfellows and send it to the address above. We are also looking for volunteers to help with this massive undertaking.
