The Beta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma met on Monday, September 20th at the First Baptist Church in Eastland. Members and guests enjoyed a meal and lovely fall decorations provided by Kathy Glidewell. Two of the guests were new teachers from Cisco Elementary School, and they received $100 checks for classroom supplies. The money was provided by Delta Kappa Gamma’s Alpha State Educational Foundation to enhance the educational experience for Texas students.

Coming soon to Ciscothe 3rd Annual Cookie Walk! Cisco Strong, Inc.- whose main event is the Cisco TX Pie Festis again having a Cookie Walk in downtown Cisco on Saturday, Octover 2. The Cookie Walk will be part of the popular City Wide Garage Sale hosted by the Cisco Chamber of Commerce. Waverly’s Art Studio Building- next door to Waverly’s - will have long tables stacked high with a large assortment of cookies. You will be able to walk along these tables laden with fresh cookies and personally select as many different types and amounts of cookies as you desire. We will sell cookies “by the pound” and the walk will end when all cookies are sold.
