The Conrad Hilton Center is a monumental piece of History in Cisco. Sitting in the first hotel Conrad Hilton bought in 1919, the Mobley Hotel, it contains Cisco’s history and acts as a meeting venue for Eastland county citizens.
Due Sorelle, meaning two sisters in italian, Boutique in Cisco, TX, was opened in September of 2019 by Katuraha Bartee and Melanie Nelson. Bartee and Nelson, sisters wanted to open a business together and so Due Sorelle was born.
CSNP is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Rummage Sale held in conjunction with the Cisco Chamber of Commerce’s City-Wide Sale held on Saturday, March 3rd. We will be accepting your clean, gently used items at the First United Methodist Church, 405 West 8th St. starting on Monday, March 23 thru Friday the 27th from 1-6 pm. The sale will be on Saturday, March 28th from 7:30 am until 3 pm.
On March 9, 2020 at 11:40pm Cisco Police Officers Tammie Stubblefield and Officer Don Walls discovered a suspicious vehicle parked at a local church. An investigation revealed that two occupants in the vehicle were in possession of a controlled substance weighing over 4 grams. The two were eventually arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance. Arrested were Terold Dewitt Wilkinson, 44 of Cisco and Alisha Rachelle Bridges, 26 also of Cisco. Both have been booked into Eastland County Jail on the charge. --Kenneth D.
