Loboes, Lady Loboes do well at Area track meet
The Cisco High School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams proved themselves among the best in the area last week by finishing in the top five in their respective divisions at the Class 2A Area 9-10 Track and Field Championships in Graham. The CHS boys raced their way to fourth in the team standings, while the Lady Loboes took fifth.
Wranglers remain unbeaten with rout of Blinn
The Cisco College Wranglers scored twice in each of the first three quarters on April 3 and cruised to an easy 49-14 rout of the Blinn Buccaneers in Brenham. As a team, the Wranglers rolled up a season-high seven touchdowns and 505 yards of offense.
Loboes sprint to 2nd at 10-2A meet
The Cisco Loboes picked up a gold medal from Layne Edgar as well as medals from all three relay teams en route to sprinting to second in the District 10-2A Track and Field Championships on March 31 in Albany.
Loboes race to top of Golden Shoe Relays
Layne Edgar and Montana Conger both powered their way to gold medals last Thursday and helped carry the Cisco Loboes’ varsity boys’ track and field team to the top spot at the 2021 Golden Shoe Relays in Clyde. The Loboes, who collected 15 medals, finished with 165.5 points.
