Bill Rice, Sr.
CISCO- Bill Rice Sr., 69, passed from this life to the next on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 2 PM in the Chambers Funeral Home Chapel, 203 W. 7 th , Cisco.
William E. Rice was born on February 8, 1951 in Brownwood, Texas to Earl Alexander and Mildred (Earney) Rice. He obtained a master’s degree, and married Debbie Lynn Moore on May 10, 1974 in Cisco. He had worked as the ad manager and publisher of the Cleburne Times Review Newspaper for 21 years, Hill College-Cleburne campus, where he was a dean, and then up to the time of his retirement at Cleburne Lonestar Autoplex. Mr. Rice was a Baptist and a life member of the Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Rice of Cisco; son, Billy Rice and wife Lindsay of Fort Worth; daughter, Misty Scott and husband, Donald of Hico; sisters, Sunshine Willett of Springtown, Anne Wade of Merkel, and Gaytha Faircloth and husband, Bill of Clyde; grandchildren, Dakota and Hunter Mullins, Chloe and Bradley Scott, great-granddaughter, Hadley Grace Mullins; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kyle Eugene Rice; brother, Virgil Rice; and sisters, Estelle Bullard and Earline Dodd.
