Jimmie Lee Wright

Ranger-Jimmie Lee Wright, 87, passed from this life to the next on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 2PM at Lake Leon Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger.

Jimmie Lee Wright was born on February 28, 1933 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Francis Marion and Velma (Greer) Wright. He married Jennie Sue Crays on November 24, 1974 in Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Wright proudly served his country in the United States Airforce. After his time of military service, he worked as a field rep for Xerox. He was a member of Lake Leon Baptist Church and enjoyed cars and reading.

Survivors include his wife, Sue; son, Michael Wakefield; daughter Cyndie Mace and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Felicia Barron and husband, Zach and Alecia Mace; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Billie Joe Wright and sister, Patty Lou Wright.
