Virgil “Peewee” Harrell

Virgil “Peewee” Harrell, age 41, of Eastland passed away Monday, March 4, 2019, at Eastland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services for Virgil will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2019, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Slaymaker officiating; visitation will be held prior to services from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Virgil was born to J.B. and Peggy Sue (Peel) Harrell on March 4, 1978, in Brownwood. Peewee loved fishing, camping and motorcycles. He enjoyed working on cars. Most of all Peewee loved his grandkids and his family.

Peewee is survived by his wife, Rhonda Harrell of Eastland; parents, J.B. Harrell, Sr. of LA, Peggy Locke and husband Michael of Brownwood; 8 children, Cheyanne Harrell, Christopher Harrell, Bailey Powell, Samantha Aller, Nathaniel, Christopher, Daniel, and Tracie Aller; 2 grandchildren, Jacielynn and Stetson; 2 brothers, Tommy Harrell and J.B. Harrell, Jr. both of Brownwood; 2 uncles, Jerry Peel, and Leonard Peel and wife Nelda; and one aunt, Susie Peel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle, James Peel; 2 grandchildren, Joseph Slaughter and Paisley Slaughter.
