The Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes expresses congratulations and gratitude to the area coaches selected to lead the Big Country Chevy Dealers 2022 FCA All-Star Festival.
Congratulations is extended to more than 325 of the area’s top athletes representing 88 high schools who have been selected to participate in the Big Country Chevy Dealers 2022 FCA All-Star Festival.
The Eastland Lady Mavericks’ 2021-22 basketball season all but came to an end in the second quarter on Monday night in their Class 3A bidistrict showdown with Nocona.
While some teams were getting familiar with new district opponents last Thursday when the University Interscholastic League announced its new realignment, the Eastland Mavericks were enjoying a case of deja vu. The Mavericks found themselves in a rare situation in that the teams they are paired with for the 2022-24 seasons are the same squads they had been paired with in the previous realignment process.
The Eastland Lady Mavericks made it official last week: They will be advancing to the Class 3A state basketball playoffs.
