Hawks deal Mavs’ 38-3 loss in opener

On paper, the Wall Hawks’ 38-3 victory over the Eastland Mavericks might appear to be one that Mavericks’ head coach James Morton regrets scheduling. Oddly enough, nothing could be farther from the truth.

Eastland ISD Football Games Information

We are excited for our student athletes to return to extracurricular activities. We are instituting some guidelines and expectations at Maverick Stadium in order to meet UIL guidelines and help ensure our students have the opportunity to compete this season. The stadium is limited to 50% seating capacity. EISD has placed extra bleachers at the stadium to try to help allow more Maverick Fans the possibility to watch our students this season.

The Eastland Mavericks and Cisco Loboes will get the opportunity to prove they belong among the state’s heavyweights on Friday when the 2020 high school football season gets under way.
