Connie Fay Cate

Connie Fay Cate, 92 of Eastland, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Eastland.

Services were held at 2 pm Saturday, Jan. 9 ^th , 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Eastland City Cemetery.

Connie was born on December 19, 1928 in Gorman, Tx to Joseph Madison Barnett and Millie Mae (Murray) Barnett. She married Clinton Douglas Cate on December 9, 1944. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1980. She worked at Hollywood Vassarette for 32 years, and later was a receptionist for Dr. Harris and Dr. Treadwell for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Pierce; 3 brothers, Orville, Billy Joe, and Gene; 2 sisters, Donnie Ruth, and Dortha Mae; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
