Jack “Jacky” Leo Phillips

Jack “Jacky” Leo Phillips, age 53 of Eastland, peacefully passed from this life to the next in Midland, Texas on January 5, 2021 at 8:33 pm.

He was born October of 1967 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Sun Valley and Holbrook, Arizona.

Jack was a very hardworking man who loved his family, especially his only baby, Mega-Lou. He never met a stranger and had lots of friends. In school, he played baseball and was on the wrestling team. Jack also enjoyed camping, shooting pool, barbecuing, and playing horseshoes with friends.

Jack is survived in this world by Patricia Vick of Abilene, Shawn Phillips of Olden, his only daughter and son-in-law Megan and Kyle Smith of Eastland, his mother Katherine Robinette of Lake Leon, his older sister and brother-in-law Francie Phillips-Robinette and William of Ranger, his older brother and sister-in-law Everette Phillips and Susan of Lake Leon, his younger brother and sister-in-law Michael Robinson and Rae of Holbrook, Arizona, his 4 grandsons Weston Smith, Trent Smith, Maddox Smith and Jade Smith. Jack is also survived by 3 nieces: Mary McCoy, Katherine Robinette, and Kathleen Robinson, 4 nephews: 32 32 Austin Robinette, Carson Phillips, Aaron Robinette, and JR Sappington, as well as 3 great nieces and 5 great nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his father Lee Phillips, his Uncle Gary, his Granny Hazel and 1 great nephew.

Jack requested to be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
