Ranger College- May 4, 2020 – The Aspen Institute College Excellence Program today announced that Dr. Jennifer Kent, Senior Vice President at Ranger College, is one of 40 leaders selected for the 2020-21 class of the Aspen Rising Presidents Fellowship, a highly selected leadership program preparing the next generation of community college presidents to transform institutions to achieve higher and more equitable levels of student success.

Eastland County VFW post 4136 is a part of the nation’s largest and oldest war veterans service organization. The two men pictured above, Virgil Wilson (service officer/ trustee), and Gary Gray (commanding officer), have been working hard on deep clean the post 4136 building, remodel, and updating a few things during the time of social distancing. They have had a couple of volunteers help them, and are welcoming any other volunteers who would like to help. You can help pay back for those who served for us. ABILENE, Texas (News Release) — Hendrick Health System has signed agreements to purchase Abilene Regional Medical Center (Abilene Regional) and Brownwood Regional Medical Center (Brownwood Regional) from affiliates of Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHS). The organizations anticipate finalizing the transactions by the fall of 2020, subject to state regulatory approval.
