Pictured above are those who attended the dedication Friday of benches placed in front of Cisco Fire Department and the old Bank building, which was the scene of the Santa Clause Bank Robbery in December, 1927. Cisco SAFE and Keep Cisco Beautiful worked together to acquire these beautiful benches to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice protecting the Cisco community during the Bank Robbery: Clyde Vandell Weathers-Fireman, William Albert (Bert) Strickland-Fireman, Police Chief George Emory (Bit) Bedford, and Assistant Police Chief George Carmichael. Among those attending were family members of the deceased, present members of Law enforcement and Cisco Fire Department, representatives of Cisco SAFE and Keep Cisco Beautiful, Chamber and and more. Thank you to Keep Cisco Beautiful and SAFE for all you do in Cisco to better and beautify our community.
