Betty had an emergency Dental appointment in Cisco at 1:30 PM; I had a physical therapy appointment in Eastland at 1:45 PM, so we were going separately. Shortly after she left our home at Lake Leon, Betty called me about a “blowout” at the rail crossing at FM 570 and the road to EBBA Iron & Vulcan Materials facilities.

County Judge Rex Fields read the Child Abuse Prevention Proclamation at the Eastland Court House. Shown in photo to the right at the reading are (L. to R.) Make child abuse prevention a priority.” Communities around the county have adopted the Child Abuse Prevention Proclamation as well as the County.
