Holiday Craft/Bake Sale at Bethel Baptist Church Nov. 12 & 13

Bethel Baptist Church of Eastland will hold its annual Craft and Bake Sale Friday and Saturday, Nov. 12 and 13 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. There will be lots of homemade cakes, pies, breads, candies, cookies, jams, and relishes, and pickles. Crafts will include gift ideas or just keep for yourself! Along with the crafts will be craft materials, kits, and fabric galore. Christmas and Thanksgiving decorations and clothing and jewelry will be available. And last but not least, there will be raffles for a queen-size quilt and baskets of tool bag and tools, Keurig coffee items, coffee percolator and other items, pancake/waffle items, and teas and related items.

Siebert 5th Graders Invite to Hometown Heroes Program

Siebert Elementary School’s 5th Graders would like to invite you to our Hometown Heroes Program on Thursday, November 11, at 8:30 am in the school cafeteria. We will be honoring Veterans, Military, First Responders, Medical, and Essential Workers. There will be a reception in the atrium after the program for our special guests. Please join us as we celebrate Eastland’s Heroes.

Eastland Band Back in Action

After a year without participating in marching contests due to Covid 19, the Eastland band was back in action this season. The band’s competition show was entitled “Wanted: Dead or Alive” and featured music from “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly,” as well as Bon Jovi and composer Luke McMillan.
