It is no secret that at some point in the future, I will start considering retirement. With that said, the Board and I agreed that it was prudent to begin thinking strategically about finding a top-quality administrator who will succeed me when I make that transition. Our succession planning includes searching for one who will understand Eastland Memorial Hospital’s complex operations, high standard of patient care, and financial structure.
