The Church On the Way is worshipping and welcoming others to the center at 1233 N. Seaman St., Eastland in facilities built and occupied for several years by the Seventh Day Adventists, vacant but maintained for a number of years.
Eastland Chamber of Commerce held their annual Old Rip Pageant Saturday at the Lumberyard. Lots of beautiful little girls and the above winners received a crown and sash and will represent the Eastland Chamber of Commerce in the old Rip Parade in October. This year’s Old Rip Pageant winners are: Baby Miss Winner: Ruby Jane Reep; Runner up: Piper Jean Funderburk; Tiny Miss Winner: Preslee Dream Hyles; Runner up: Emry Zade DeLeon; Petite Miss Winner: Sharon Lara; Runner up: Jaylyn River Reeves; Little Miss Winner: Cody Rae Scott; Junior Miss Winner: Rylee Breanne Thomason; Runner up: Joanna Justice.
