At Monday’s meeting, County Commissioners accepted a clean audit presented by Jeff Graham, which had no findings internally nor concerns with the audit. “What a year …. lot’s has happened,” Graham acknowledged at the beginning of his presentation. “The county did fairly well …. with all that was going on,” he said. Graham pointed out that the Courthouse and offices were closed to the public for some of the time. (Many services were conducted online during this period.) Grants to the county were down, Graham reported, particularly effecting Road and Bridge funds; However, the general fund balance could still be considered in a healthy condition. New leases in county were also reported. County Auditor Loretta Key thanked Jeff Graham and his staff for preparing the audit.
