Finding Hope In The Pandemic

Why and how long? You probably have asked these questions during this unprecedented time of shelter-in-place and social distancing, but the questions of why and how long persist. Is it God’s judgment on America? Possibly. But who can know the mind of the Lord (Ps. 16:11)? Sometimes the most difficult moments in life leave us without answers and only more questions. Throughout the entire Bible, we read about God acting in history in strange ways. He called Abraham at the age of 75 out of the land of Ur and promised His descendants would be a blessing to all nations. Abraham and his wife didn’t even have a child at that point.

Local Business in Town for 20 Years

For 20 years a local family owned Farm & Ranch business has been run by Joe McCollum. In 1987 the local Eastland Farm & Ranch Inc was opened. It was originally run by Joe’s dad, but when he passed away Joe took it over. The location of the business has not changed. It has always been located to the North of Brookshire’s. By: Brooke Reep
