The City of Eastland was notified by Waste Solutions of the resuming of their residential bulk pick up services on May 15. The service was halted on April 21 due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

For 20 years a local family owned Farm & Ranch business has been run by Joe McCollum. In 1987 the local Eastland Farm & Ranch Inc was opened. It was originally run by Joe’s dad, but when he passed away Joe took it over. The location of the business has not changed. It has always been located to the North of Brookshire’s. By: Brooke Reep

For many years the Eastland Maverick Barbershop has been up and running, in the same location, and a very popular business. The original owner Royce Cozart owned the business for many years, and then sold it to Jim Kennedy. When Jim Kennedy took over he did a little bit of remodeling. Three ladies Rhonda Swanner, Sandra Rodgers, and Lindsey Brown work hard everyday to keep the customers happy. By: Brooke Reep
