The Gorman City Commission met on the above date with the following present Mayor David Perry, Commissioners Tammy Straw, Lisa Laminack, Judy Garrett, and Vicki Brown. Others attending were Chief Steven Anderson, and PWD Joe Williams.
The Gorman Panthers made sure Eastland County would be well represented at the upcoming state track and field meet in Austin by turning in solid showings at their respective regional meets this past week. In all, the school collected all seven of the county’s entries in the May 7-8 state meet.

The Desdemona Activity Center’s Garage Sale will be Thursday, April 22nd , Friday, April 23rd , Saturday, April 24th. Hours will be: 8:00 AM---5:00 PM except on Saturday we will close @ noon. This is a gigantic sale with some of everything. Good merchandise & everything a bargain!
