Time to start getting Halloween costumes ready! Gorman’s city commission voted to hold the annual Downtown Spook Parade this year, following Trunk and Treat in the Park. Precautions to help make the event safer may be discussed. It was pointed out that the children are already attending school together for the most part, so they should also to have their halloween events..

City Hosts Retirement Party for Adrian Huddleston

A retirement party hosted by the City of Gorman in the Community Center was held for Officer Adrian Huddleston Friday to commemorate his 54 years in law enforcement. Huddleston began his service as a game warden in Dallas, he said and then continued service in law enforcement in various parts of Texas including Laredo on the border. He is shown above with Gorman Chief of Police Steven Anderson.
