Gorman Progress
Gorman Police Depart. Report Chief of Police Steve Anderson
The Gorman Police Department had the following activity for the month of June:
FROM THE MAYOR
HOT! Did I mention that it is hot? I don’t know about you, but Vicki and I are doing everything we can to keep our yard and other plants alive. Our water bill was high, and I expect it will be higher next month. You will notice on your current bill that it includes one dollar for the fire department, one for the youth programs, and one for Parks/Recreation which are optional, but we hope everyone will support them. There is another charge you may have included with your monthly billing. You may also have a $5.00 monthly charge included on your bill for membership in the Air Evac program. If you wish to do this, you will need to pick up an application at the city office. It is well worth having! Without that coverage, if you ever have to be air lifted to the hospital it may cost you thousands of dollars. It is insurance everyone needs!
