Violinists Sandra Brudnak and Sunny D’ Apice and Vilma Pequero - Cello gave a great concert Friday evening at the Iron Rose in Gorman to benefit those affected by the Eastland County Complex Fires. They played everything from classic to folk music and were joined by Dan Brudnak - Banjo for several musical pieces.

Quilters and visitors are invited to a Trunk Show at the monthly meeting of the Sewing Circle in Desdemona on Monday May 23 from 9:30AM to 4PM. The program will begin at 10:30 and will feature Elaine Houston and Shirley Watts of the Pease River Quilting Guild in Vernon, Texas and Madge Mickelson, award winning quilter from San Angelo, Texas.
