Gorman Progress

Letter of Thanks

On behalf of the Joe Rodgers’ family, we would like to say thank you for all that was done for our family with Joe’s passing. The people of Gorman make Gorman a very special place to live and to have been raised. During one of our saddest moments for our family, we felt comfort, love, and support. We heard stories that made us smile and laugh through our tears. Your thoughts and prayers have helped give us strength and helped us to find peace. Thank you - Joe Rodgers’ Family

Gorman ISD was closed and the City Council meeting postponed until Tuesday. All were thankful that utilities and cell phone services remained on this year - in contrast to the epic 2021 Winter storm. Joni, a long time resident of Gorman, said she had driven to work in Eastland for many years, and now really enjoys working in her home town. She is also pursuing a Tele-communicators certificate.
