The Blum Bobcats showed some of the offensive fireworks they used last year to claim the six-man state football championship on Friday in Gorman. The Bobcats rallied from an early deficit to claim a 70-23 decision.
The Sidney Eagles scored 30 points in the second and third quarters on Thursday and then held on to take a 30-28 victory over the Gorman Panthers.
Week 2 of the 2020 Texas high school football season will come a bit early for two Eastland County teams. Ranger and Gorman will both be playing tonight (Sept. 3) due to changes fored by COVID-19.
