Ranger I.S.D.’s One Act Play presented “12 Angry Jurors” on Thursday March the 7th and was able to walk off after their performance with a ticket to Bi-District. The advancing to Bi-District is the first for the group of thespians and their first year director Andrew Hertel. The energetic ensemble executed their play excellently and electrified the auditorium for just under forty minutes. The cast and crew through due diligence delivered their lines with the emotion and emphasis needed as well as having the comedic timing for their drama to have the levity for an audience to feel a wide range of emotions. Through their hard work and dedication over the past few months the entire cast took the audiences collective breath away with their performance. Several members of the ensemble were recognized with awards for their individual performance including Graciela Gonzalez and Sawyer Barron named to Honorable mention All-Star cast, Allison Wilcoxen and Ethan Gonzalez named All-Star Cast, and Preston Romanstine taking the Best Actor award. The group of actors are not resting on their laurels though and have been hard at work to keep their play sharp and honing their skills for their next performance was held March 23rd at the Cisco Junior College Auditorium.
