RANGER CARE CENTER- Our residents here at Ranger Care Center had a great Valentine’s Day dispite the weather. They got card’s, candy, stuffed animals, and chose the King and Queen. The King and Queen for 2021 are Mr. and Mrs. Hogan. The cookies for the king and queen were donated by Blue Brick Bakery.

The VFW Post 4136 sheltered 40 Ranger College Baseball players during this storm. We enjoyed having them and hope they they had a good time here. Ranger Fire Dept. does a door to door check on residents

A Ranger residence that Ranger Fire Dept. did a door to door check on Feb. 16th to make sure all were safe and warm. Houses were marked with yellow caution tape to show that they were marked ok. Photo by Sheila Hickox

Ranger Fire Dept. does a door to door check on residents

On February 16 , Ranger Fire called in all surrounding departments to assist with door to door checks on all houses throughout the city to make sure everyone was ok, staying warm, and offer help getting to a sheltered if needed. The checks started at 12:00 and ended at approximately 7 pm. Ranger Fire Department was assisted by Ranger City Works, Ranger City Council, multiple personnel from county fire departments and citizens of Ranger that volunteered to help. With approximately 25 people. When going from home to home when they made contact with individual in that home hime they left a piece of caution tape so they would know they were safe.
