RANGER CARE CENTER--We are having a lot of fun here at Ranger Care Center. We are still doing the activities we used to do only in the rooms now instead of in a group setting. Our residents still have all their activities including birthday parties. We want to wish William Johnston a very Happy Birthday. Thank you for the cake Mrs. Johnston as he enjoyed it very much. Keep praying and stay safe!

The Billy Gillispie Era came to an end at Ranger College on Match 30 when he resigned to accept the head men’s basketball duties at Tarleton State University. The RC alum will be stepping in to help Tarleton transition to the NCAA Division I ranks, beginning next season.
Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Miller Merka, age 43, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Christopher House in Austin after a 26-month battle with Metastatic Melanoma.

Staff and residents at Ranger Care Center continue having fun even though the facility is on mandatory lockdown. Just what does that mean? Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services who set forth our rules in the home have said that only essential personal are allowed in the factility at this time. This has been a change not only for our residents but for our staff as well. Sense this lock down event we have been bringing the activities they would normally be doing in a group setting straight to them in their rooms! Yes! We are doing individual one on one activities with each and every one of our residents and your loved ones. Such activities include Hallway Bingo, Arts & Crafts, Dominoes, and we are looking forward to making individual "Bunny Houses" out of graham crackers for Easter. Caring for your loved ones is our top priority at Ranger Care Center, especially during this time and with the events going on around us.
