A local antiques shop in Rising Star has many great treasures to be found. Owner Nancy Bostic is a friendly lady who will gladly welcome you into her shop. Nancy has been in the antiques’ trade for 35 years, and still enjoys it to this day. She has been located in Rising Starr for 3 years. “I love being able to find new treasures and meet new people,” Nancy says. Take time to visit her shop and see what collector’s items are waiting for you to find.
Rising Star City Hall will close at 12:00pm on Fri, Sept 4, 2020 and will be closed on Mon, Sept 7, 2020 in observance of Labor day.
In a Special called meeting on Thursday, Aug. 27 Rising Star City Council voted unanimously to hire Chad Goldston for Chief of Police. Chief Goldston will begin his position in Rising Star on Sept. 14.
