The Eastland County Commissioners’ Court met in a regular meeting on 06/12/2023 at the Eastland County Commissioners’ Courtroom in Eastland,Texas. Judge Hullum called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m. and declared a quorum, followed by a prayer and pledge of allegiance to the flag.
Consent agenda items included approval of the previous minutes, personnel matters, bills, claims, accounts, and acceptance of certificates of course completion on Open Meetings Act and Cybersecurity.
The burn ban, which was lifted on March 6, 2023, will remain lifted. The District Clerk filed an order setting salaries, presented by Chelsea Henry and it was accepted. Sheriff Weger led a discussion to consider purchasing generators for the dispatch towers and it was approved.
