Melba Ruth Aaron, 87, beloved Mother and friend, was called to her eternal resting place on July 2, 2023.
She entered this world on November 4, 1935 in Gorman, Texas, born to John and Virgie Brown.
Melba married William Rowe “Buddy” Aaron on May 31, 1973 in Eastland and together they owned and operated Aaron Insurance Company since 1981. Melba was a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in elementary education, Masters in Library Science. She was the Eastland High School librarian until 1981 then went to work full time at Aaron Insurance Agency. She was the president of the Rotary Club, was a Rotary Governors Representative, served as a Board of Directors for United Fund, as well as, the Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Daugherty Church of Christ in Eastland. She was an amazing woman with a huge heart and will be missed dearly.
