Independence Day events in Eastland County concluded Saturday with a 4th of July Patriotic Concert held by Eastland County Community Band & Choir at the modern Ranger College auditorium.
The concert featured all time American favorites including “Broadway One-Step” - K.L. King/arr. Andy Clark by the Eastland County Brass Quintet and “With Liberty and Justice for All” - created by Vader, Rouse and Kirkland by the Eastland County Community Choir.
Eastland County Community Band presented “American Overture” - Joseph Wilcox Jenkins, “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” - arr. Fred J. Allen, “American Riversongs” - Pierre La Plante, “America the Beautiful” - Samuel Augustus Ward/arr. Carmen Dragon, and “The Gallant Seventh” - John Phillip Sousa/arr. Fredrick Fennel.
