County Court Hears of County Appraisal Office New Building

The Eastland County Commissioner’s Court met on July 24 to discuss the burn ban, Eastland County Appraisal District Resolutions and more.

Eastland County has four commissioner pre-4 is Robert Rains.

The Commissioners of each precinct and the County Judge are part of the Commissioners Court. Among other duties, the court develops a tax rate and sets the budget for all county departments. At their normal Monday meeting, the court decided to continue the current burn ban, as advised by a majority of the fire chiefs in the county.
