Shirley Geraldine (Jerrie) Gee Moncada, 86, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 in Eastland, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
Jerrie was born September 20, 1936 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Blanche and Roy Scarbrough. She was a proud graduate of Hobbs High School where she made many lifelong friendships. Jerrie married Bobby Gee in 1961 and they made their home in Coahoma, Texas where they raised four children Randy, Gary, Rodney, and Kim. Jerrie was a devoted wife and mother and took great pride in caring for her family. She and Bobby loved going to the mountains and took many trips to New Mexico and Colorado. They shared their love of the mountains with their children.
