U.S. Congressman Roger Williams, 25th Texas District, spoke and took questions from a group of Eastland City officials, county leaders and educators last Wednesday at the Eastland Connellee Roof Garden. These included EHS Dual Credit students, political science, with instructor Nancy Hughes, Ranger College.
“It is a huge deal for me to represent you,” Congressman Williams told the crowd gathered for this event.
Congressman Williams is a businessman - owning an automobile dealership in Weatherford and ranch land in the area. He is Chair of the House Small Business Committee and serves on the House Financial Services Committee. Congressman Williams said he represents Main Street America and understands the issues faced by businesses and community banks.
