The Rising Star Wildcats journeyed to Sidney only to lose a heartbreaker to the Sidney Eagles, 45-34.

After Sidney had won the opening coin toss and elected to receive the football, Anthony Pollard attempted an onside kickoff and then recovered the onside kick. The Cats’ Dathon Morris fired a pass to Dakota Higgins on the first play for 47 yards and a touchdown. The missed PAT attempt left the Cats with a 6-0 lead just 11 seconds into the game.
