Fresh off a win over sixth-ranked Jim Ned, the Eastland Mavericks will jump into the fire again this Friday when they host the unbeaten Jacksboro Tigers at Maverick Stadium.

Jacksboro rolls into the showdown as one of the area’s biggest surprises. The Tigers are 5-0 and sport one of the region’s better offensive and defensive squads.

In their first five game, Jacksboro has averaged just over 45 points per game, while limiting their opponents to just 126 total points.
