Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is using key words that drive more internet traffic to your blog, ad, or book. Search engines like Google, Bing, and AOL are constantly examining online content and identifying words that link back to what people type in the search bars.
Say I’m looking for articles on theology. I type “theology” and “religion” and “article” in my Google search bar. Google looks through its web index for those terms then gives me a list of articles having to do with theology and religion. “But I wrote a paperback book,” you say. “People can’t read it online.”
