October 21 has been is the 2023 FALL FESTIVAL in the park on Hwy. 36 in Rising Star, 10 AM to 4 PM. FUN things to do are planned such as Photo Booth, cake walk, music, corn hole, face painting, jewelry, air fresheners, candy, wind chimes and a special pecan pie contest. Other goods may be sold as well.
The Star Pride Fall Festival will be adding a Pumpkin Contest to the many other events.
Bring your carved or decorated pumpkins to the Rising Star City Park pavilion.
