Gorman runners advance to State XC

The Gorman High School Panthers will be well represented at the Class A state cross country meet this coming weekend. Overall, Gorman will have eight runners, including Hadli Hampton and Triston George, competing at state meet on Nov. 2 at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock.

“I’m so incredibly proud of these kids,” said coach Kristi Sandoval. “They stepped up and left it all on the course.”

The Lady Panthers clinched a spot for their entire team by finishing second at the regional meet on Saturday. The top two teams, as well as the top individual finishers, from each region advance to state.
