Shirley Dove to Retire as Registrar of Cisco College

Shirley Dove, who received her first degree at Cisco College and then returned later to work in the Registrar’s office, rising to Registrar herself, will retire in December after 22 years of service.

She was born and raised in Eastland and graduated from Eastland High School. After earning her associate’s degree from Cisco College, she went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in business management from Western Governors University.

She began working for the college in 2002. “I started out as a transcript clerk, and just kept moving up to different positions,” she said. Then when Mr. Olin Odom retired, she became Registrar in 2016.
