All veterans who have served and those who continue to serve were saluted and acknowledge as heroes at Gorman ISD’s 2023 Veterans Day program.
The auditorium filled quickly with students, families and other visitors, and most important - the attending Veterans.
An opening Prayer was give by Yahlee Torrez. Cub Scout members presented the Flags and lead in the Pledges. This was followed by a Moment of Silence. The Gorman ISD Band then expertly played the United State’s National Anthem.
