The Gorman High School Lady Panthers ran their season record to a perfect 3-0 this past week by grinding out impressive wins over Woodson and Tolar in non-district play. Overall, Gorman outscored its two opponents by a 138-14 margin.
The Lady Panthers made quick work of Woodson on Nov. 10. Gorman reeled off a staggering 32-0 run in the first eight minutes of the game and never looked back. They tacked on a 13-2 run in the second and went into the half with an overwhelming 45-2 cushion.
Gorman, which finished the game with five scorers in double figures, closed out the game with a 37-2 run in the second half.
