Gorman capped a successful week of play by rolling to the championship at the Hamilton Invitational Basketball Tournament and then ran its season record to 8-0 with a rousing victory over Zephyr on Monday.
The Lady Panthers started fast against Zephyr. Sparked by an 18-point outing from Hadli Hampton, the Lady Panthers destroyed the Zephyr defense in the first eight minutes of the non-district showdown on Monday. The GHS girls pumped in 18 points in the opening frame.
