Mya Wesley pumped in 25 points and Jacie Holt added 17 more last week and carried the Eastland Lady Mavericks to a 58-51 victory over the Anson Lady Tigers in non-district basketball action.
With the win, Eastland improved to 5-2 for the season.
Anson got off to a fast start. The Lady Tigers outscored Eastland by a 14-9 clip in the first eight minutes.
